Had a pretty good weekend! We went to a friends house on Friday night and the kids got to play and be roudy. We ate some good food and met some cool people.
Josie watched the kids for us on Saturday night. Richie and I had a nice dinner with our friends, Stephen and Selma. We went to their house and they made original Wienerschnitzel made of Calf and it was so good! It's a thin piece of calf (looks like it's pounded thin but i think the butcher can filet it that way). It's breaded and then fried in a skillet. It was the best schnitzel I've ever had.
We always have a great time hanging out with them.
Sunday, I got to lead worship at church. It was such a Spirit filled time of worship to the Lord. I haven't felt that in a long time. God is so good and I am thankful for those moments.
Today....same thing I do every Monday. Here's my typical Monday. Took Elee to his German class at Josiah's school and then came home. About an hour later, left to pick him and drop him off at his kindergarten. Then I came home and finished giving Pace his lunch and then laid him down for his morning nap. Paid some bills and folded clothes, fed Luna, and then off to get Elee at the bus stop. Then Josiah came home. Laid luna down for her nap and Pace down for his afternoon nap. Looked up recipes for Tamales and made home~ade Tamales for dinner. LOT of work but they were pretty good. Kind of dry, but I didn't have a steamer to cook them in and just baked them essentially. Will have to try something different next time. Richie came home, we ate, we cleaned up. Then the kids watched a movie. I read the boys a chapter in the Chronicles of Narnia book. We're almost done with the 2nd book already! Then we put the kids to bed! I took a bath after putting them to bed and that was really nice. Oh how I love baths!!

January 24 (Monday)
Yesterday Josiah turned 8 years old. Where does the time go? He is so big now. He went jogging with Richie on Saturday. Then we went to the movies for his birthday and saw Alpha and Omega about two wolves trying to get back home. It wasn't the best movie but the kids liked it.
Josiah hasn't been feeling well so he stayed home from school today. He slept for 4 hours and then went to bed tonight at 7:30. He must be exhausted!!
Elee, Luna, Pace and I went to a birthday party today. I got to try to speak in German which is always fun. :) The kids had fun playing. Josiah stayed at home (by himself for the first time)!! The party was in our village so he knew where we were at, and he also had the phone number. He's such a big boy. He watched a movie while we were gone.

January 19th, 2011 (Wednesday)
Richie left this morning for Graffenwoehr. It's about 3 and half hours away. He'll be home tomorrow night. My friend Sara from church is coming over after she gets off work around 10 and will be staying the night with me. Yay! Some girl time.
I absolutely love watching Pace fall asleep. I have the computer in his room and he just rolls around until he's ready to doze off. He ended up on his belly with a blanket somehow over his neck, back, and arms and one leg through the bars. He is sleeping soundly though. He is too funny.
Elee is in my bed tonight. Before I walked out of the room after tucking him in he was already sleeping.
I just came from upstairs and Luna got out of her bed and was keeping Josiah awake. I walked into the boys room and she came out with a Lego man in her hands talking about Legos. hahaha

Is it really 2011 already?
Pace started full on crawling this week. It's amazing to see our little man move! We put him in his highchair for the first time on Saturday too! We've been feeding him from his carseat all this time and FINALLY put his chair up for him. It's great because now he can feed himself since he has his tray in front of him.

Dec 26-29th (Venice)
Richie and I got to go to Venice for three nights! Here are some pictures of our wonderful trip. We took Pace with us and he was GREAT! We brought the Baby bjorn and the stroller with us. We ended up pushing him around in the stroller the whole time so he could take his naps and we could feed him easier from his car seat. It worked out great!
