Favorite saying (from yesterday)~ I spanked Luna's bottom for not listening and she said, "kiss my butt, kiss my butt mommy". She wanted me to kiss her "boo boo". It was sooooo funny!
I cleaned the house today! I cleaned two showers, and four bathrooms. Cleaned our bedroom and vacuumed, did all the laundry..... I was on my feet all day. I wanted to get most of the work done before Richie came home so that we could hang out. We were able to watch a movie tonight called Seraphine. It was pretty good. Richie of course fell asleep. It was a very slow movie and had English subtitles and it was about an eccentric artist.
Andy, Stephy, and baby Benjamin come tomorrow! I'm so excited!!! Can't wait to see them. It's been 9 months! We leave for Greece on Friday, the day after they get here. The weather there is supposed to be in the 60's. It's been in the 60's here too and so nice and warm with a breeze. The sun I bet will be a little hotter in Greece. Looking forward to a little vacation.

15 March (Tuesday)
Today I went to the Mama Lernt Deutsch class and it was hard. The kids room is right next door so they constantly wander in the classroom. I ended up leaving early because Pace didn't take his nap and was crying if I didn't hold him and Luna was whining and wanting to be in the room with me. After we left I picked Elee up from the kindergarten. It was so beautiful outside today. In the 60's!!! I'm so ready for summer! It was nice driving with the moonroof open and the windows down a bit.
Once I picked Elee up, I took all three of them to the Dr's office. Of course when I get there I see the sign on the door and see that they close at noon. I was there at 12:10. I went in anyways and they were able to see me. In my broken German I said, "Ich habe kein termin aber meine tochter hast ohren smertzen....gelb ohren". She has an ear infection...again. And although she has never been on antibiotics I figured it was time to put her on them since this was the second time this month for the ear infection.
We came home and of course she didn't take her nap. Pace didn't nap either. So neither of them took a nap and then we venture off to a Birthday Party in Bad Schwalbach. I made a wrong turn and ended up turning around. There was a car that came up behind me and I ended up hitting the lady when I went in reverse because I didn't see her. My first accident ever.... besides the time that I hit a median here two summers ago when were first here. I really really don't like driving here. Everything is tighter spaces, and on hills.
I have a huge migraine tonight. Trying to battle it out because I hate taking this medicine. Not sure what to do but I'm not feeling too hot. Well, maybe tomorrow will be a better day.

March 12 (Saturday)
Today we met with our soon to be new land lord in Walluf. They showed us the our name that they already put on the doorbell of the house. It was so sweet. We talked mainly in German which was great. We talked about what rooms they would paint and things like that. They are really nice people. The kids played outside the whole time because it was so beautiful outside today. It was about 55 degrees. Afterwards, we went to Walluf for lunch. We ate a place on the Rhine River (inside). It was so beautiful!!
Josiah's friend, Julia came over today and they played for a bit.
JoAnn came over today for dinner. She's here for a couple months working although she's retired. She's the one that got Richie the job over here in Germany. It was my first time meeting her. It was a really enjoyable time. The kids were so great and she was really laid~back and great with them. We had chicken marsala. During dinner, a bat had come into the house and was flying around. It was crazy! We managed to trap it under a blanket and shoe it outside. Makes me thankful for 'doorwalls'. We moved the couch out of the way and opened the door that's behind the couch to get it out. Afterwards we sat by the fire and just chilled. I love this indoor fireplace.
Favorite Kids saying of the day: Today at lunch Luna said "what is your name" in English to a German. I said, "Wie heist du" so she'd know the German. She repeated it at lunch. Then, tonight when we went on a walk before dinner, Luna was walking and said, "Wie heist du"? I can't believe she remembered it after one time!
Josiah's friend, Julia came over today and they played for a bit.

Our bought our plane tickets last night for Israel! They were 1,000 for the two of us! That's a really good deal. We are going from May 21st-May 29th. Now we just need to find a place to stay and renew our passports. ;)
Elee had a play date at Ben's house yesterday. I walked him over there at 3. I had to wake him up from a nap and he didn't want that. But it's good for him to have play dates so he can learn German.
Today was a good day. We had the Mom's Breakfast here. I got home from taking the boys to the busstop at 8:30 and it started at 9. I made bacon, eggs with chorizo, Blueberry Scones and we had German bread and meat and cheese. I picked up the bread last night and put it in a plastic bag to keep it soft but it didn't work.
Pace hasn't been eating much lately. He barely ate anything today and wouldn't even eat the baby food. He wanted mommy's milk and a sippy cup and thats about it.
Josiah has two play dates planned for this weekend. Tomorrow a boy from his class, Jon. He is coming over here. And on Saturday a girl from his class, Julie will come over for a little bit. Ever since the past couple weeks and everything that has been going on with school, I've decided to plan one play date a week for them. They really need some other kids to play with and they need some friends!

Josiah and Elee had no school today. Today is Rosenmontag.
Pace got sick tonight after Richie came home from work. I walked in to get him from his nap and he had gotten sick in his crib.
I had a bad migraine all day today and I kept a cold washcloth necktie thing around my neck all day. I also drank a lot of water but it didn't seem to help all day. Until finally tonight, I kept drinking water and about dinner time it was gone! I felt like it was a miracle. I'm really hesitant to take my medication because of the chest pain so I'm so thankful to God that it went away. I had the headache since yesterday.
Tomorrow Josiah has Fasching dress up day at school. He's going to be a ninja. I ironed his white gi for him tonight.
Hopefully tomorrow will be a good day with no one sick.

March 6th (Sunday) Fashcing Parade
Elee was sick Friday night and yesterday. He threw up before going to bed and then took a bath. Yesterday he took a nice long nap. Today he was feeling better. Richie came home yesterday from Turkey. This morning after feeding Pace I got to sleep in which was nice. I woke up to Elee sleeping next to me. He crawled into bed next to me and fell alseep.
I've been wanting to sew and make a dress. Here's a picture of my work in progress. it took two days to get this far. Now I just need to sew it together. It's hard to make a dress without a cloth tape measure and tailor chalk. Hopefully those will come in the mail soon. I also need to order some mulsin. I realize it's very difficult to design a dress without the muslin to make the pattern. Grandma Margaret might pick some up at JoAnn's.
Today we went to a parade for Fasching. We met up with our friends Selma and Stephen and their son Etan. Fasching is kind of like Mardi Gras German style. we had a lot of fun. The kids got some candy and it was neat to watch the parade! It's the same time every year. They would shout 'HAYLO' to get candy. Very funny!
We have AFN hooked up to watch TV in English. Very excited about that. We are watching SNL now, however I think it's an old episode. Watched a little bit of new for the first time in about 3 months. I realized that I didn't really miss it. There is just so much bad news out there that it can drive one crazy.

4 March (Friday)
Today after I got Elee and Josiah off to school, I went with Pace and Luna to pick up the mail at Richie's work. Richie's still in Turkey and comes home tomorrow afternoon.
Luna and Pace both have colds. I let the boys stay up really late tonight. Until about 11. We watched Nancy Drew together. We had popcorn and some Manzanita Lift (apple pop). Elee had two small glasses. Elee fell asleep and when he woke he was crying and said he didn't feel good. so I rushed him to the bathroom and he got sick. I checked his fever. No fever. I got him in the bath to clean him up and get new clothes on. I think he got sick from too much sweets and the pop. We rarely drink pop.
I've been working on a dress today. It's been a lot of fun. I wish I had muslin to make the dress out of first, and then make the pattern. I think Grandma Margaret is going to go to JoAnn Fabrics and see what she can find.
Ready for bed!!! It's after midnight here. And I know Luna likes to wake up early.
