18 February, (Friday)

Richie comes home tonight! It'll be late...around midnight but glad he'll be home. I have a date planned for us tomorrow evening. It's been a very long week. Josiah's been getting picked on everyday at school and on the bus. Also, kids beating up on him at school. Finally he hit somebody last this past week on the bus. A neighbor girl Hanna told me. I asked him about it and he started crying saying he couldn't take it any more and how he doesn't like his life. I feel bad for him. I think the move to Walluf will be great for the boys. There should be some boys in that town. Josiah has all girls in his class that live in our village and they gang up on him. I talked with one of the moms today at the bus stop so that she could talk to her daughter. She was really nice about it.

Aunt Lolly called today and Josiah told her that he doesn't like his school life, but said he likes home life. It was really cute.

I took Luna and Pace to the commissary with me today and then to the PX and to Subway for lunch.

Tired......

14 February, Monday~valentine's day

Richie left for Berlin yesterday around 12:30. We stayed home from church because he got home late friday night from his trip to Belgium and then we went to a friends house. Then on Saturday we had a going away party for a guy that he works with at our house. It was a long weekend. The best part was the massage he gave me on my massage table in front of the fire.

Simon and Sara came over for a visit last night. They ate dinner with the kids and I and then Sara spent the night. They are really cool cats. We watched the documentary called

I went to the Montessori School today in Wiesbaden for the parent meeting. They told me how Elee did during his one hour visit there last Friday. Then they asked me a few questions. They said that they would send a letter if he gets accepted or not. Only 30 kids will out of about 150 so the chances are slim. I'm not worried about it though. If God wants him to go there then the door will be opened. If not, he can go to school with Josiah.

I went to the commissary with Pace and Luna after I dropped Sara off. She watched the kids so I could go to the Parent meeting at the Montessori School. I bought the kids some valentine's treats. When I gave them to Josiah and Elee today, they were so happy. They even gave me each one of their gumballs and Josiah gave me a kiss on the cheek. It was too cute.

I have been battling a migraine all day today. Surprisingly, after motrin, tylenol (without having to take zomin) , lots of water, and a washcloth on my neck, it has subsided. I'm very thankful for that.

I've been still getting chest pains almost everyday. I really want to go back to the doctors when Richie gets back. It makes me worried.

Now I'm watching "Coco Before Chanel". It's in French with English subtitles. It's very good!

Happy Valentine's Day.

Feb 7th (Tuesday)

I'm reading the Chronicles of Narnia to the boys and we are now on book 3!! Book three is "The Boy and His Horse". We started it last night and I finished chapter one tonight. We usually read a chapter before bedtime. They really like the books and so do I. I love spending that time with them too before bed.

We got a package from Aunt Susie and Grandma Marion today. It was like Christmas all over again. It was so much fun to go through! Candy and coloring books and clothes for Pace and underwear for the all the kids!! Josiah will like these underwear because they are Hanes. He wore a pair of Spongebob ones to school a couple weeks ago and a kid in the locker room after sport made fun of him. So he came home and told me that he didn't want those anymore. I felt so bad for him. I just want to beat up the mean kids.

Today, Josiah said a kid was beating him up at school. They have a lot of time in the school yard where the teachers aren't around. I really don't like that about the German schools. A kid came up and told the other boy pushing Josiah down to leave him alone. So the kid did. He told Josiah to tell them to 'stop' and if they don't to come get him. Apparently this boy lives in our neighborhood too. If Josiah points him out to me then I will shake his hand. :) I just want to find out where he lives and tell his parents, "Good job!". He made Josiah feel really special too. I could tell because of the way Josiah told us the story tonight at dinner. Yay for cool kids like that! The boys were saying that he must be a Christian because he helped out. It was so cute.

February 5th-6th, (Saturday & Sunday)

We took a hike on Saturday in Bad Schwalbach. Just a 10 minute drive from here. It was really nice. It was warmer than it has been. We walked for about an hour. We had a lazy day which was reeeeeally nice. Didn't go anywhere other than on our walk.

We went walking again on today, just in the field by our house. There was such a gorgeous sunset. It filled the entire western sky with bright orange and pink. Amazing.

2 February (Wednesday)

Pace seemed to cry all day. Richie didn't get home until 7:30 tonight. He had a party after work and then had to stop at the commissary.

Best comment for the day: while we were eating our dinner....
~Me: "You can guys need to eat a bun with your hotdog because you are growing boys".
~Josiah (8 years old): "Tell me about it"!

hahaha. I thought that was so funny!!

1 February 2011 (Tuesday)

We saw a fox today in our neighbors yard. It was sleeping curled up in a ball. When I opened the door to take a picture, it ran away into the brush. After about five minutes it came back out, sniffed around and then left. It was really cool to see a fox that close.

Pace climbed the steps today for the first time. We have four steps that go down into our living room area. He climbed them all so easily. He's doing something new everyday it seems. When he smiles at the camera, he squints his eyes too. It's really cute!

Sale of the month....got this dress that I wanted from Free People on the Lord and Taylor website for about $35 dollars. Normally $138. Yay!

Luna is still feeling a little sick. She got an ear infection too like Josiah. Hopefully she'll be better tomorrow. We're using homeopathic ear drops and that seems to be helping.
